Founded in 1973, Kinco Constructors will be celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout 2023. Be on the lookout for special events, digital productions, and numerous other items all year long.

We were thrilled to join the Pulaski County Special School District along with Consolidated Construction, Inc. (CCI), WDD Architects, and others at Maumelle High School for the groundbreaking ceremony of their new track, indoor practice facility, softball field, and baseball field.

The Kinco Cup which is a golf match between the Little Rock office and the Northwest Arkansas office was recently held at the Red Apple Inn in Heber Springs. The Little Rock office maintained its hold on the Cup for the second year in a row, but it had to win in a tiebreaker putt-off to do so.

Completion of a $65 million expanded University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Radiation Oncology Center that will house Arkansas’ first Proton Center marked an important milestone Oct. 20 with the arrival and installation of the Proton Center’s cyclotron, a type of particle accelerator that serves as a key piece of equipment

Adam Tullos, Director of Preconstruction, has been named a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) after meeting the difficult requirements. Adam is now one of three CHC certificate holders within Kinco.

The Kinco offices in Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas recently held gatherings to celebrate no accidents in 2021 company wide. Great food and camaraderie were enjoyed by all.

The weather was not friendly, but the Little Rock office persevered to win the third annual Kinco Cup at Stonebridge Meadows in Fayetteville. The golf tournament pits the Kinco Little Rock office versus the Kinco Northwest Arkansas office for bragging rights each year.

A topping-out ceremony was recently held for the new ARORA medical office building in Little Rock. ARORA exists to restore lives – through the life-saving and life-restoring transplantation of organs and tissues. The new facility includes office space and clean room/clinical space.

Bob Archer and Nicholas Davis of Kinco were recently at the CASS- Career Academy of Siloam Springs  to discuss how to read plans and the technology that goes along with it.

Kinco was humbled to be a part of such a vital project for the safety of all in Arkansas.

The first ever Kinco Construction Camp is being held this week in partnership with the UALR Construction Management Department. The camp consists of high school students from across central Arkansas who desire to learn about the career opportunities in the construction industry.

The Radiation Oncology Center, part of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, already offers cutting-edge technologies to provide the latest radiation treatments. It will continue to provide those services, as well as new ones using the expanded capabilities of three new linear accelerators, as it relocates in 2023 to a new 52,249 square-foot-building facing Capitol Avenue, between Pine and Cedar streets.

Kinco Director of Preconstruction, Heath Rheay has been named Outstanding Council Member of the Year - Northwest Region by ABC Arkansas. Heath stays plenty busy by touching almost 100% of the projects that come through Kinco's NWA office, but he also gives generously of his time to industry causes such as the ABC and by teaching a construction management course each semester at Northwest Arkansas Community College.

The groundbreaking for the new Emery Sapp and Sons Springdale 21,779 square foot office and 16,220 shop was held on March 8, 2021. We are excited to partner with Emery Sapp to serve as the construction manager for the project.

Heath Rheay has been named the Kinco Northwest Arkansas Constructor of the Year and Josh Peabody has been named the Little Rock Constructor of the year. Heath serves as the Director of Preconstruction and Josh serves as a Superintendent.

The Cane Hill Presbyterian Church was presented the Excellence in Preservation through Restoration award by Preserve Arkansas at a virtual award ceremony on Friday, January 22, 2021.

Construction began this week on the University of the Ozarks’ new $18.1 million science center, the largest single capital construction project in University history.
