PROJECT FACTS

The new 17,000 square foot Petit Jean State Park Visitor Center includes a gift shop, an exhibit gallery with over 2,000 square feet of space, and a multipurpose room with 2,000 square feet of open space. The visitor center also has offices for the park staff. There is a large fireplace between the east and west wing with rock features. Exterior of the building includes beautiful stone-work and painted cement siding board with a metal roof. A new wooden bridge was built to connect the adjacent park areas to the new visitor center, as well as numerous new sidewalks which lead to the campground area along Lake Bailey.
