The first ever Kinco Construction Camp is being held this week in partnership with the UALR Construction Management Department. The camp consists of high school students from across central Arkansas who desire to learn about the career opportunities in the construction industry. The mornings are spent at UA Little Rock where building design, estimating, and scheduling are discussed. The afternoons are spent with the Kinco team visiting job sites to learn about field operations. Students are being taught such things as the controls for material lifts, how to operate a backhoe, and how drones are used on-site.

The camp has been a great success, and we look forward to them becoming even bigger and better in the future.
